The Family House and Guests Residences are all located within the old farm premises.
All the buildings, which date back to the 15th Century, have been beautifully restored with careful attention to both the detail and the environment, using only traditional stone, terracotta and timber materials.
The whole property is surrounded by green hills, located in a very quiet valley on the edge of the Mugello region. It is away from all built up areas and is to be found at the end of a 2 km dirt road. 

The large swimming pool (14 mt x 7 mt), located within the gardens, has a wonderful panoramic view and is open from June to September.
Casa Valecchio has two separate guest residences, connected by a large grass terrace and an outside corner gazebo covered by a beautiful wisteria vine.
The guest facilities can comfortably host 6 to 8 guests in total privacy, being a separate self-contained section of the farm property.

  The main guest house (about 150 sqm) has a large open-plan upper level with kitchen island, corner dining facilities and reading space with TV and radio.
On the lower level there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a bathroom with shower.
The smaller cosy second residence (about 50 sqm) is composed of one bedroom with double bed, an extra bedroom with wardrobe and pull-out beds and a bathroom with shower. This space also has its own TV and radio.
  

Taken together the two residences can offer three bedrooms, a spacious hall, two bathrooms, and an extra bedroom when required.
The flower gardens and beautifully kept large lawn areas, which runs up from the house to the swimming pool, are entirely reserved for the guests of Casa Valecchio.



     

Spending a holiday at Casa Valecchio means to come deeply in contact with the nature, beauty, and culture of the area, whilst enjoying your own total privacy and relaxation..

The geographic location, only 30 km from Florence, allows many of the most interesting Tuscan cities of art and culture of to be within easy reach: like Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Lucca. Pisa, Volterra and others.
